Quick Summary
Marketing while on holiday is possible when you build the right systems. This August, I hiked for two weeks in British Columbia, and while I was away, our newsletters, social posts, SEO, and team kept things moving. I came back to new inquiries—just like our clients, who saw growth even while they took time off. From SEO-friendly websites to review boosts, Instagram strategies, CRM cleanups, and repositioning campaigns, their marketing didn’t pause. With fall ahead, now’s the time to set up marketing that works while you rest.

Every August, I go on a biggg hiking trip. This year, I went to British Columbia, Canada, for two weeks. And wow! It was magical.

Now I’m back at my desk in Toronto, and like clockwork, it’s buzzing here with inquiries.
Even though I stepped away to recharge, our marketing was on autopilot.
Email newsletters and social posts were scheduled, and our SEO kept working in the background. Of course, I also had my colleagues holding down the fort.
The result? I came back to new inquiries waiting in my inbox.
The same is true for our clients.
Many of them took time off this summer, but with processes and content running in the background, their marketing kept working while they rested.
Here’s a glimpse of our client’s progress this summer:
- Callaway Childcare Construction — Rebuilt their website to be SEO-friendly. They’re now ranking top 3 on Google and just received their first-ever online inquiry!!!
- Claire Zinnecker Design — Optimized the website for SEO and AI, set up sales tracking, and got 20+ reviews. They’re already on page one of Google, and we’re pushing for the top 3 next month.
- Lorla Studio — After a year of SEO, we started managing their Instagram and posting consistently since July! We’re testing strategies that bring in inquiries…not just followers or likes.
- FrankFranco Architects — Interviewed their high-net-worth clients to assess the customer journey. Next? We’re launching a video marketing campaign based on the findings.
- Acre Made Furniture — Together, we launched a monthly email series, cleaned up their CRM process on HubSpot, and kicked off SEO. Their rankings for “custom furniture maker” are increasing, and we’re on track to double inquiries by 2026.
- Studio Strongwater — Repositioned from “kitchen designer” to “full-home designer” to grow the firm. We developed SEO-friendly landing pages, gained 25+ reviews, and currently have a referral program in the works.
I’m feeling grateful: for the chance to unplug in the mountains, for the people I get to work with, and for a team (and a process) that kept everything running while I was away.
As you probably know, entrepreneurship is full of ups and downs. So I’m especially grateful when it’s balanced and steady like it has been these past two years.

With the summer ending, many firms are reimagining their marketing for the rest of the year.
If you want to fully disconnect for your next holiday (Christmas?) without losing momentum in your marketing, start now. You’ll thank yourself later.
And if doing it alone feels overwhelming, book a 20-minute call with me.
We’ve made a lot of changes to our packages this year (thanks to Matt, our business coach). So, we have prices to meet you where you’re at. Here is the full digital marketing menu.
See you later,
Daniela
