Meet Rebecca Merritt.

She used to get just 4 leads a year. Now she’s getting 30.

How? She did SEO for 12 months, and now 90% of her inquiries come from Google.

From Overwhelmed to Focused

When Rebecca and I first met, she was two years into running Merritt Design Co. and feeling overwhelmed.

“I was just really overwhelmed… I’m only one person. I can’t do it all. I knew marketing was important, but I didn’t know where to start.”

She had tried it all: Houzz, Instagram ads, Facebook ads, and local networking. Nothing moved the needle. SEO was on her radar, but it was confusing. Like many, she was trying to be everywhere at once and burning out.

That’s when she reached out.

After following Daniela’s SEO recommendations from my consultation, I went from averaging just 4 leads a year to 30 in a year (that’s about 2–3 per month!).

Not only has the volume increased, but the quality has too. I’m now getting more qualified leads, with healthier budgets, that are perfectly aligned with my design style and ideal client.

If you’re looking to boost your online presence, I highly recommend contacting Daniela. She’s a true asset and will empower you to take control of your SEO journey!

The 1:1 Consultation That Changed Everything

In our consultation, I gave her a 12-month marketing plan and broke it down in order of priority.

  • Phase 1: Positioning – Last year, Rebecca’s brand positioning wasn’t clearly defined. Through our 1:1 session, I challenged her to establish a niche. By the end of our consultation, she decided to specialize in coastal interior design in South Florida.
  • Phase 2: Website Optimization – Choosing a specialization made it a whole lot easier to choose and optimize for a keyword. She communicated it through her website, portfolio and Google Maps listing.
  • Phase 3: Content Marketing – Next, Rebecca reinforced her niche through regular blog posts, social media, digital PR, and an email newsletter.

With a marketing plan she could follow on her own, she got to work. A year later, she now ranks among the top 3 on Google for “interior designer near me” in Key West, Florida.

A System She Can Stick To

Rebecca now dedicates 1 day a month to marketing, and it’s paying off.  This year, she generated over 30 leads, in comparison to just 4 the year before. About 90% come from Google. Some of them are even multi-million dollar projects (yes, luxury buyers are online Googling).

The best part is that they came to her. She didn’t chase them. As Rebecca told me:

“Every time I get a call from someone who found me online, it just feels so surreal. It makes it all worth it.”

I’m so proud of Rebecca.

Digital marketing isn’t easy. It moves fast, algorithms change constantly, and there’s no shortage of conflicting advice out there. The hard part is knowing what actually works for YOU.

It takes discipline and persistence to follow through on a 12-month strategy like Rebecca did. And she did it all on her own.

If her story resonates, book a call for your own 1:1 consultation … or join our workshop on November 14. It’s called The 12-Month Marketing Plan. Early bird pricing ends tomorrow.
